Activity 3: Own Choice

Today l did the activity 3 for week 1. For this activity we could choose any community or person who we thought is changing the world there was no wrong or right choices.  I chose to talk about the Summer Learning Journey program and team because they have changed many children in learning and they fit perfectly. We were to provide the name of your chosen subject and add a description of what they do/have done. I enjoyed doing this and explaining about the Summer Learning Journey that l going to be doing these holidays.

Wow!, Summer Learning Journey is a fantastic program who has positive impacts on others. I like how you have explained what you did for this activity. You have made a great choice of choosing a community or person for this activity. Did you find this activity difficult or easy?

    Good Job!

  3. Hi Avalon! I found the Summer Learning Journey a great choice to talk about for this activity as well. The team is definitely making a positive impact on children from all around the Manaiakalani clusters. How do you think the programme has helped YOU personally? This was a great finish to week 1!

  4. Kia orana Avalon,

Such a cool program to talk about for your activity! I guess it shows how much the SLJ programme has influenced you and your classmates. I appreciate the effort that you take in setting out your blog posts and the way that you summarise your writing in your own words. Ka pai Avalon, you are doing an amazing job! I love how you have also included a picture of our team and the SLJ logo, so thoughtful! I am interested...how much has the Summer Learning Journey affected your learning? Do you think that there are improvements in your learning that has taken place because of your participation in the SLJ programme?

Keep up the good work Avalon!

    Meitaki,
    Mani
