The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet Paperback - Reading Challenge

This week l read a book called The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet Paperback. This book about two boys who find a newspaper and advertisement looking for a home built spaceship. They quickly build one out of tin and scrap wood and showed it to a advertiser. He makes a few modifications and gives them special fuel and tells them they must visit the mushroom planet and undiscovered a invisible moon of Earth’s.

Amulet the last Council - Reading Challenge

This week l read a book from a series Amulet the book l read was series four. This book is really interesting and is about Emily and her friends that think they'll find the help they need in Cielis but something isn't right with the town streets that were once busy are and local now the townspeople who are left live in fear because the Elf King's men came and destroyed everything in the town trying to look for the Cielis. 

Amulet Clouded Searchers - Reading Challenge

This week l did another Reading challenge the book a read was the third book of the Amulet series. This books was about how Emily and Navin the siblings in this story are with their crew of resistance fighters charter and airship they set off in search of the lost city of Cielis. There hope is to find help from the Guardian Council's powerful Stone keepers. It's a task that Alledia's depends on doing and time is running out for Emily and Navin. They have to try and find the Cielis before the Elf's king finds it.   

Diary of a Wimpy kid - Reading Challenge

This week l read a contemporary book. The book l read was Diary of a Wimpy kid this book was about  a boy named Greg Heffley  his attempts to become popular in middle school with his side mate Rowley Jefferson which is his best friend but he doesn't like calling Rowley his best friend because Rowley makes him look impressing he says that we suck in middle school with a bunch of morons which are some dumb friends of mine Greg Heffley  is an American middle school student and also the main protagonist of the book series Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Tears for water - Reading Challenge

This week l read a poetry book called Tears for water. This book is about Alicia keys and her little poem she talks about how she tells woman to be them self don't be fake and  how she worked on singing and becoming more confident in her self. Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets - Reading Challenge

This week l read the 2nd book in the series called Chamber of Secrets this book was about how the Harry Potter went to Hogwarts School and a mysterious elf tells Harry potter that he will be expecting a lot of trouble being his that it was going to be his 2nd year at  Hogwarts School. Harry Potter wasn't really ready to see what was going to happen with all the moving trees that fight back at each and a flying car that takes you upside down and everywhere. Spiders jumping from walls and images talking to each other. 

Harry Potter Philosopher's Stone - Reading Challenge

This week l read Harry Potter Philosopher's Stone. This book is about how  Harry Potter, Ron, and Thermionic deiced to try and find the Philosopher's Stone so the three of them try to find it around the school one clue is to look under every trapdoor. Unitll under the trapdoor is the Philosopher's Stone. A Philosopher's Stone can transform metal into gold they. Then Harry Potter finds out that Voldemort has been killing unicorns in the Forbidden Forest and drinking their blood 

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly - Reading Challenge

This week l read a pitcher book about there was an old lady who swallowed a fly. This book was about how an old lady swallowed a fly, spider, bird, cat, dog, cow and a horse. This book is great to sing to in this story she keeps on eating random things.  

Snake skeleton found inside 1500 year old POO - Reading Challenge

This week l was reading a book about Snake skeleton found inside 1500 year old POO. This book was about how 1500 year poo was found and inside of the poo they found a snakes skeleton from the bones scales to the fang of a snake were recovered from the fossilised poo which is hard poo. 

Food Magazine - Reading Challenge

This week l read a Food Magazine for a new reading challenge. This book is about different kiwi foods. Food is the go to magazine for everyday Kiwi foodies. The title is a  appealing mix of more than 50 innovative recipes per page alongside information plus expert tips and tricks on different foodies.

This week l did a Reading Challenge the subject l was doing was Humor for Humor l deiced to do to read this wreck this journal it was wasn't about anything it was about wrecking the journal. a Wreck journal is collaborative creative journey where you can make something creative book and wreck it an example is if you can make one page and tell the reader stick things that are sticky on this page like gum anything and thats one why of wrecking a dairy.   

Rainbow Warrior - Reading Challenge

This week l did a reading challenge l read a fantasy book it is called Extra Ordinary Adventure. This book is about how a prophecy Alaskan Indians believed that a Rainbow Warrior was the name of the ship that sailed the world. Alaskan Indians lived in the wild and took care of them self and children by catching wild life they believed that the warrior back then would catch any wild life that he saw.  

Military Machine - Reading Challenge

The Stonekeeper's Curse - Reading Challenge

This book is about how two siblings Emily and Navin's mother is still in a coma from the arachno pod's poison, and there's only one place to find help Kanalis, the bustling, beautiful city of waterfalls. I like this book because it is kind of a mystery how l know is because at the end of the story it says what do you think would happen next. 

Kiwi Lifeguards end summer season - Reading Challenge

Today l did a reading challenge. This Newspaper article was about Kiwi lifeguards who patrolled 15 major beaches in the northern region they were being patrolled for the last time. Monday the 22nd April was the last day for this season of life guarding. I think this Newspaper article was great talking about since 1910 extraordinary Surf Live has been Saving and patrolling New Zealand beaches.

Amulet - The Stonekeeper

This book is a fiction story so that means it is a fake story. The main characters in this story are a girl called Emily a brother Navin,Mum,Grandfather and robots. This is a comic book. After the family tragedy of dad dying Emily,Navin and their mother move to an ancestral home to start a new life. On the family's very first night in the mysterious house Emily and Navin’s mom gets kidnapped by a tentacled creature. Now it is up to Emily and Navin to figure out how to set things right and save their mother’s life.
