Today I did Activity 1 day 3 for the Summer Learning Journey. For this i was too imagine that the government decided to create a new $10 note and replace Kate with a picture of a different woman. Hello Avalon! Rosa parks would be a great replacement, although I think Kate Sheppard definitely fits right on the 10$ note. Is there another women from New Zealand that could possibly be the replacement? If you have any ideas, please let me know!

ReplyDeleteI liked how you said that Rosa Parks was really brave and outstanding for not giving up her seat, and fighting for black rights. I also liked how you said that you'd be proud and honoured by her being on the $10 note. Would you be able to do what she did given the chance?
