Kiwisport




Today for kiwiSport we were talking about what we learned about last week and what we are going to be doing this week this week we were doing jumping and jumping over the lines and then we were in groups and we were jumping over the thing and we had to do it hige or low havever we wanted to d o it.

Today for Kiwi Can  This week for Kiwi Can we Talked about self control.We played Three activy. The first 
activy was bing bong bounce.What we had to do was if Mrs Latioa said bing bong bounce then we say bang but if she just say bounce then we don't say bang.The next activy was GKQ what we had to do was answers the question that Mr Wong or Mrs Latioa said.I think this was fun because  we had to control our self and considerate.The next game we played was called hand cricle what we had to do was if Miss Latioa calped  her hand on the left then the next person dose it agina but if that person claped 2 times then we had to go the other way.

To identify the 4 pillars and the meaning of it. This week for inquiry we are focusing on Hauora. Hauora has 4 pillars to it. Meaning there is a Maori name in it too. Taha Hingenargo, Taha Wairua, Taha Whanau, and Taha Wairua. Today our task was to get into groups of 3-4 and then make short videos or animations that show the positive and negative scenarios that is part of the 4 pillars. While the video is going we explani to you telling you what the Maori and English name is for each of the 4 pillars and also the explanation of it.

Today for reading we were talking about infer about the character and we had to talk about facts about the the character and ouotes about the character and Actions and Getting inside the character's head what l learned was that it is easy to do this and it is not hard l liked how we were reading the book red ball it was fun to read and how l learned it was by knowing what it is and how to do it and unstanding the book.

3D and 2D shapes

Today for maths we were learning about shapes we were learning about 2D shapes and 3D shapes those are the shapes that we were looking at and we had to pick two things from the class room and take a photo of them l picked a ball and a cube that is what we had to do and what l learned was what 3D shapes and 2D shapes are.

The big puppy Canoe race


Today for my can do l did The big puppy Canoe race  it was so cool to play and easy and hard l came first in the races and l was computer 3 and l was red in the race how this workes is you go onto it and you write your name put you don't need to write your name down if you don't want to then you just say play game and then you play it and that is what l did for my can do.

SSR self

Today for daily six l did SSR self on old school Diary of a wimpy kid it was fun to read and l did the SSR self at home l liked this book because it was really inserting to read and how it ended was so cool and it was funny how the mum keeped on talking about the old 90's.

Tv Add

Tv Chicken & Chips Ad


LI: to demonstrate understanding of persuasion and influence.
Today for inquiry, we had to make a poster or an ad to persuade people into to doing what you want. If you made poster it was pretending to persuade people to vote for you to be the prime minster, and if you made an ad it was persuading people to buy your object or fast food. I created this ad in a pair with Avalon. Our fast food we picked was Chicken & Chips and named our store - A n V's Chicken & Chips. We got our images from finding them online and getting our teacher to print it out. We cut the images out and cut out a little bite mark with scissors to pretend that she took a bite out of it. I learnt the definition of influence and how I can show it.

This week (Week 4) we learned how to make sentences smaller by using contractions. Contractions help you write quicker and finish your writing quicker. For example I write "He would" write He'd to make it samller.

Kiwi Sport




























learnt how to run faster.I learnt this by doing this task.What we had to do was an activity we did 3 activity.Our first activity was we had to called there here and were so the here was the front of the stage the there was in the middle and the were was at the end of the hall.Our Second activity was we had pick a partner and then we have to lay on out back.Then we had to run fast and try and get the cone back to the middle.The game was Fast Reaction.And our last game was to ran fast.What we had to do was when Andy said Your mask get set so but we had to get into the posin that she showed us.Then when she claped her hand we had to run fast straight and not look forward.
