Kiwisport

Today for kiwisport we were doing short put the first thing we did was we played octopus then after octopus we talked about about we learned last week and after that we had to get into patterns me and angela worked togetter on short put we took turns with the green short ball l went first and then angela went after me then we got our green short put ball we borth did it at the sme time mine went far and angela's one went far to then we did that over and over and we keeped on talking about the things we learned and at the end of the listen we seat in down and had a rest then andy gave all of us lolly pops.

Kiwi Can

Today on Wednesday we went to Kiwi Can and Mr Malu and Miss Latoya weren't there. There was two new Kiwi Can teachers named Mr Latu and Mrs Pipiha. We did a greeting and went straight to our energiser. It was called 
So we had to get in a circle and Mr Latu would point at us and say one of the actions and we would have to do it.
After that we were having a little session about what challenges mean.
Then we played a game that was really intense. We had a hoop and three cones. We had to toss the hoop in the cones. There was one cone close to you - 10 points, second cone a little bit far - 20 points, the third one was really far - 50 points. It was a challenge for the whole school.

Today we were doing a scavenger Hunt we had to work in groups of three me Yesha and Milana worked together as a group we got a  piece of paper with the clue on it our clue was 15 - 10 that meant that we had to go to room five we ran they and they was a clue it was right for us we went to our next cule and it was wrong we went back to class and it was all wrong the first part of it was right put the other parts of it was wrong then we got on with our wrong after our  scavenger Hunt.

Today for writing we were doing Recounts and what we had to do was we had to do a plan and a Recount on what we did on the Scavenger Hunt we had to talk about how we did it and how it worked what l learned from this was that Recounts are easy to write and plan's are easy two to write.

Today for Inquiry we were learning how to vote and how we did that was we had to do our work and this is what we had to do we had to put down everthing and we had to put down the party and the leader pitcher logo and the Electorate some of them did not have Electorate so we did not but it on if it did not have one that is what we learned in Inquiry how l learned it was by knowing how to do this and what learned was how to vote and how party work.

Maths plan


LI: To create a piece of art using: rotation, translation, and reflection.
Today for maths we were doing art we had to work in our groups and we has to pick some Maori designs and some other pitcher's we had to go into our maths group and we had to find some pitcher's and then we had to pick a art work and we had to put it on our name because Mr O made this google doc and put all of our name's on it and then we had to put our pitcher that we picked and we had to put it on our name and then after we did that we had to go onto prodigy.

Today for reading we were talking about fact and opinion fact is about when you talk about some think that is real and opinion is when you give your idea on something we had to do this fact and opinion on topic's that we wanted to do and l did slime,fidget cube,lego those are what l did for my topic's for each of them we had to say for one side fact we had to say 3 fact's and for the other side we had to write down 3 opinion's just like the other side.

 I learnt What a Qar meant. What we ad to do was we had to was we had to create a DLO Explaining what we did this Tearm. Qar stands for Question Answers Releships. We also talked about Character Incer and Infer.Then we had to make a Video explaining about How to do Qar,Character Infrec and Infer.We explain want we need to do to make a Qar or to do a Charater infer.

Tongan Language week


Today for Tongan Language week we had to go into groups and we had to be in a group with a Tonga gril or boy then we had to pick which one we wonted to do we picked Numbers and after picking what we wonted we had to create a Tonga language week poster on numbers we had to put down all of the numbers in Tongan and we had to record us saying them me and Angela worked together on our poster.

LI:  What is self control and how to use it.I learnt that self control is when you control your emotions and what you do.I learnt this by going to kiwi can and playing games that had included Self control.We first played Bip Bop Bounce then we had to talk about where is any risky actions is in the school or around the school.The other game we played was called all aboard.All aboard is when you have a rope formed.

I learnt how to infer about a character that was based in the Book or Story and that was kind of the Main Character. I learnt it By reading My book and then by going to my Inference Chart and filled in some facts I know about my Character some Quotes on what My character actually says in the book, Some Actions that the Character does in the Story and last is to get inside your Characters head and by trying to infer thing that your character might know.

Today for other l was doing prodigy it is a game that you find on line and it is a maths game that you play and you anwers questions and if you get it right then you get a point.

Today on raz kids l read little miss muffet she was a gril who did not like spider she was eating and then l spider came along and sat beside her and then the spider made her run off this story was really cool to read and also l liked how she ran away when she saw a spider.

Today for maths we were talking about 3D shapes and we had to make shapes we made a cube,cylinder,prism,pyramid,Cone,square based pyramid so those were that shapes that we were doing and making they all have a face and a side and a edge we did 6 in a row in our maths groups we were learning how to make them and we had to do this without any one to help us to do it l did a cylinder.

activy was bing bong bounce.What we had to do was if Mrs Latioa said bing bong bounce then we say bang but if she just say bounce then we don't say bang.The next activy was GKQ what we had to do was answers the question that Mr Wong or Mrs Latioa said.I think this was fun because  we had to control our self and considerate.The next game we played was called hand cricle what we had to do was if Miss Latioa calped  her hand on the left then the next person dose it agina but if that person claped 2 times then we had to go the other way.

To identify the 4 pillars and the meaning of it. This week for inquiry we are focusing on Hauora. Hauora has 4 pillars to it. Meaning there is a Maori name in it too. Taha Hingenargo, Taha Wairua, Taha Whanau, and Taha Wairua. Today our task was to get into groups of 3-4 and then make short videos or animations that show the positive and negative scenarios that is part of the 4 pillars. While the video is going we explani to you telling you what the Maori and English name is for each of the 4 pillars and also the explanation of it.
