Activity 2: Leading by Example

Today i did activity 2 week 2 for the Summer Learning Journey. For this i was to describe your a random act of kindness that i did. What did you do? How did the person react? How did it make you feel? I talked about how l helped  homeless people in Auckland City. I think this is massive problem in New Zealand because when l went i saw a lot of people that were sleeping outside of shops and there blankets to keep them warm were usually cardboard or a lot of blankets.

  2. Hello Avalon!,
Wow! What an amazing random act of kindness you have done. Giving food and water to homeless people is a very nice thing to do. You have a great DLO, which has a great layout. Sometimes doing a small thing that is nice can actually turn out to be a big thing to others.

    Keep It Up!

  3. Kia ora Avalon! How are you doing? It’s still windy in Auckland! I hope the weather is better up in Auckland!

Thank you for your blog post! You’ve done something very special and kind for your Act of Kindness. Ka pai! It’s very important to remember other people around us and how there’s always someone in a worse situation than us. I really enjoyed your poster! It’s super professional and eye-catching! Congratulations on all your effort! I can’t wait to see what else you’ll come up with?

    Keep up your blogging!

    Ngā mihi,

  4. Hey Avalon! What you did was really amazing...some people really struggle with money or suffer from disasters that lead them to being in the state they are in. I think it's really inspiring to be helping them! Even the little things matter, and you really showed what that meant. Great work!

  5. Hi Avalon,
I liked how you said that you helped homeless people in Auckland by giving them things like food and water. I also liked how you said that some of them were extremely grateful. Would you want to join a missionary and help homeless people there?
