The Great Taupo Cycle Challenge

This week l was working on one of my Week 2 Summer Learning journey activity. For this activity l had to list three people l would like to have on my support crew if l ran the  The Great Taupo Cycle Challenge. l chosen Tom Boonen, Marianne Martin and Beryl Burton l picked these three people because they work hard for what they want and are good famous people.

    Hi again Avalon, I am pleased to see you have completed yet another activity, well done!

    You are so clever selecting famous people. A lot of the other blog posts I have read have all been close family or friends. I like the way you are thinking outside of the box. Personally, I had just chosen my family as well, but these people would be able to give you proper technical advice.

    What sort of things would these people say to you leading up to and on race day?

    160KM is a huge distance! I worry that I would not last. I might need to call a taxi at the half way point.
