Today we were doing Reciprocal Reading. We were reading a book called Built to Last. This book was about buildings that last and gave me information about buildings that were built a long time ago. l was interested in the Cold Comfort hotel because everything was made out of ice and it was a hotel. One of the facts that l learnt was that they used 350 tones of ice and 10,000 tones of snow to make this Cold Comfort hotel. The book talked about a lot of famous places in the world and how they were built. The things you do in Reciprocal Reading is to Predict,Read silent, Clarifying, Questions and Summarizing. Reciprocal Reading helps us with our reading comprehension.
