Title - The Olympics

When it started February 9th to 25th of February and is was held- in Pyeongchang 2018.		The Pyeongchang Winter olympics Athletes come to compete in flexible sports.
	South Korean people launched the 23rd games for the opening ceremony.
Athletes and People from different countries come to represent there sport and their culture also there audience and as a sports player.		The Relations to the Pyeongchang winter olympic games is guided together with a torch meaning the start of the winter games.

This week l did my 5 main ideas we had to find the main points from the book l worked with Joel and Aung Naing we were working together and trying to find out the 5 main points l really enjoyed the task. 

Corners - Maths

This week for maths we were learning about angels. We were learning how to tell our left and rights by the clock. And then we find a partner my partner was angela we took our white broads and thought of a shape we thought of a square and had to try and use. What we learnt in the class and take it outside and use it we used angels to try and make up our square.

Tongan - Nagtu Art

This week everyone finished they Tongan - Nagtu Art  l liked this art because arts are one of my favourite subjects. first we had to find some of the designs that we wanted to do on line l did a flower in the middle.  And some flowers on the out side l enjoyed drawing and learning things about how they make Tongan Nagtu in Tongan.

Today for reading we were talking about commonwealth games we talked about 5 main points on the commonwealth games these are some of the sentence that l wrote and l think they were main points l really liked this task because we also got to learn about the commonwealth games.

For the Winter Olympics they use equipment for some games like skiing. And they use respect as so
they can work to together in a term. Some other words that they use in the Winter Olympics is friendship
they have a lot of snow that is why it is called. The Winter Olympics They have a lot of tournaments game
s and a big logo that has the 5 rings. They also have an opening ceremony and a closing ceremony.
They give out the medals which are gold,silver,bronzer. Some of the sports are Snowboarding,Speed skat
ing,lce hockey,Bobsleigh,Freestyle those were some of

Today we used the ‘2 words 1 minute’ challenge to write a description about the Winter Olympics. After
talking in pairs about the things we knew about the Winter Olympics we created a list of words (vocabulary)
that would help us write our description. We chose the words ‘equipment’ and ‘respect’ to help us think about
what we were going to write.
We talked about ideas with a partner, then we had 1 minute to put those ideas into sentences.
We had to try our best to use all the words on our vocab list. After the minute was up we had 2 minutes to read
what we had written and make changes if anything didn’t make sense or if we had words and
punctuation in the
wrong place.
When we finished checking we had 2 more minutes to carry on writing our descriptions.
All the words that l highlighted were the words that l
used in my writing and l wrote down what l did great and not that great.

I did great in full stops and adding in the two words which were Equipment and Respect.

I need to remember to use more better words.

Let me tell you something about the Winter Olympics

In 1924 the first ever Winter Olympics games were held in Paris, France.This year the Winter Olympics will be  The sports they had in the 1924 Winter Olympics was ski jumping , snowboarding, bob sleighing, the skeleton, curling, figure skating, freestyle, cross country and the 2018 Winter Olympics as well. There will be 92 countries competing in the 2018 Winter Olympic games.

Professor Stephan Hawking

Sadly Professor Stephan hawking passed away last week. We created a DLO to show who he is and why he is famous. ln this task we focused on using our own words and attributing our images l really enjoyed learning things about Professor Stephan hawking. The most sidle that l like to read about him is the first sidle.
