Today l did Activity 2 for the Summer Learning Journey which was about the one small step for the man. We created a short poem describing how you felt when you first set foot on the moon we had to imagine that we were Neil Armstrong. This is my short poem l created imagining l am Neil Armstrong who just set foot on the moon. I enjoyed writing this poem about Neil Armstrong because l could learn more about writing poems.
Hi Avalon this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the poem you created about Neil Armstrong - would you like to walk on the moon? I'm not too sure I'd enjoy the LONG journey to get there! Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting on my blog post and yes l would like to walk on the moon l think it would be awesome and because it would feel like l am floating.
ReplyDeleteHi Avalon! You are doing great with the Summer Learning Journey. I really enjoyed your poem, it's a short but expressive. The first sentence was definitely a hook for me. I can imagine the dust particles circling me, that was very creative! Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHi Avalon,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you said you didn't see a single movement or hear a any sound when you landed on the moon. I also liked how you described how you felt as excited and nervous. If you actually could, would you want to go to the moon?
