Place Value Partitioning

This DLO shows how l used the strategy of place value Partitioning solve addition problems. During our math lesson we practiced using this strategy with number and word questions. When l l was answering the word questions l had to look for the math so that l knew what numbers to work with. My screencastify shows the strategy l used. The more l used this strategy the easier it got.   

Addition

This week for Maths we were answering some Addition question. Mr Wong Created a Challenge for Mrs Anderson maths group. What I needed to do first was make a copy and then answer the questions on the sheet.  We could use any strategies to solve this. I used algorithm and tidy numbers.
