Today i did Activity 3 day 3 for the Summer Learning Journey. For this we were too choose a book that we like and write a short review of it. In the review we were to tell you what the book is about and what we like about it and also add a photo of the book. I enjoyed doing this activity because i could tell you about my favorite. The reason this is my favorite book is because i like how the story goes and also a fact about me is that i enjoy reading graphic novels/comics because they are all so interesting to me.
Hello Avalon! Wow, it's great to see that you are really ahead on the Summer Learning Journey. It's easier for me to do the 3 activities first, and blog comments the rest of the day to stay on track. Graphic Novels might just be one of my favorite type of books, because I find them so interesting as well. I've read Ghosts and most Raina Telgemeier books, they're really good. I'm glad you chose this one to talk about. What are you're thoughts and opinions about the book for those who haven't read it yet? Keep up the great blogging!
ReplyDeleteWow. You are really off to a great start on your learning Journey. What an interesting book you have chosen. The cover definitely encourages you to read it. Keep up with your postings.
ReplyDeleteMr Johnston
Thank you Mrs Johnston for the encouragement and comment on my blog post.
DeleteHi Avalon, this is Mrs Collins again from Manaiakalani commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I'd pick The Alchemist as my must have book - have you read it? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep your learning up over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHi Avalon!,
ReplyDeleteThe book Ghost is a great choice. I have also read Ghost and I think it's a great book, which is very enjoyable. You have an awesome summary about Ghost. I think graphic novels may be my favourite types. My favourite graphic novel is Smile from Raina Telgemeier. Have you read other Raina Telgemeier graphic novels?
Great Work!
Hi Avalon,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you said that you like the book Ghosts because you like how the story goes, and you like graphic novels and comics. I also liked how you gave a short summary of the story, without spoiling anything of key importance. Would you want to write your own book one day?
