A Day at Motat
This week we went to Motat l made this short sidle show to tell you about my day at Motat. We went to Motat to learn about what steam means. Steam means Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. First we got off the bus and lined up to listen to what the instructions were by Emma and Kenzie. We then went inside the lab to start our first instruction which was too split into groups. Then we collaborated with a partner to build a car out of cardboard, plastic wheels, sticks, battery and straws. I was working with Angela for this first activity it was challenging put we used different strategies that we knew to make our car work.We moved onto the next activity which was using lego and a light which had a engine to make it turn on. We built something that had a light like a torch or a lap and added the light to it. I was collaborating with chavda and fui.Our last thing to do was to explore around motat. We went underground to look at a train that was going around and under tunnels. We moved and went to look at phones and how they worked. Our next exploring area was looking at the cars and my favourite one was the black one because it was really big. We enjoyed getting inside of the car and acting like we were driving it. I really enjoyed my day at motat learning about new things and what steam was. My favourite part was going to the historical village and looking inside of the houses.

Swimming Lessons
This week was our first time going to swimming lessons. First we got changed and all swim in a line down the line just to practice and get a head start. Then we split into two groups and worked on each side of the pool. My group started with a stream line which is when we just went on our stomachs and touched the ground and came back up we did this in a line. Next we did floating our backs so for 5 minutes. Then we talked about the rules and how to stay safe in the water and how to notice when someone is drowning. We did a butterfly in side the water chavda was showing us some skills and tips so that we can get more confident and it would help us. Our first lesson was great we all enjoyed it and my favorite part about swimming was being able to learn all these new skills.

Phonics in sentences
Phonics in sentences
Something I find interesting to do is to play my instrument. The other day I got invited to introduce myself and tell others why l like playing the piano. This trip was overseas l wanted to go with my whole family put my mother could only come with me. My favourite part about the trip was meeting new people and learning about a new place that I haven't been to before. Going to New York was the best because l went to time square.
Today in phonics we were learning different i sounds. We started with thinking of some words to write down as a group. Then we wrote little sentence for a starter and made sure we knew what to do. After that we then wrote a paragraph that had i words inside of it.

Time Table Master
This math game l have created helps you with our 12x and 11x time tables. If you get the answer wrong then you press the help button that takes you to a video after watching the video you can press back to answer agina to see if you can get the answer correct. If you get the answer correct then the sidle will take you to a page that has a nice quote saying Great job with a tick. On the same page you have next question which will take you to the next question. Creating this Time Table Master was fun and challenging because i had to make sure all the sidle were linked right. At the end of my game you get to rate it 1 thru 5. Making this DLO l had to think about what question i should do because I wanted to make them hard and easy. l wanted kids to get some of the question right and wrong at the same time. I hope you enjoyed playing my Time Table Master and learning about it.
