Formal / Informal Letters

Dear Mr Johnston,

I am writing to complain about the condition of the playground.
Over the last two weeks, I have noticed a great deal of litter.

How are you? I’ve been dead busy Since your last letter.
We have to work really hard at school to get ready
for our PAT tests.

This week for Reading we were looking at the differences between Formal and Informal. The Formal writing is used for Greeting Cards, Emails and Work mates. The Informal is used for Text message, talking to friends, grocery list or talking to the family. The writing examples show formal sentence and informal sentences.
